Vladimir Yastrebchak

Vladimir Valeryevich Yastrebchak (Russian: Владимир Валерьевич Ястребчак; Romanian Vladimir Iastrebciak, also Iastrebceak; Ukrainian Володимир Валерійович Ястребчак / Volodymyr Walerijowytsch Yastrebchak; born October 9, 1979 in Tiraspol, Moldavian SSR, Soviet Union ) is a Transnistrian politician and was dated 28 November 2008 to on January 17, 2012 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Transnistria.

Life

Vladimir Yastrebchak studied law at the State Transnistrian Taras Shevchenko University in his home town of Tiraspol. While still a student, he graduated in 2001 he was Justice of Transnistria active. Since March 2001 he has worked in the Foreign Ministry. From 2003 he was head of the legal department. On 14 February 2007 he was appointed Deputy Foreign Minister. After the dismissal of Foreign Minister Valeri Lizkai by President Igor Smirnov Yastrebchak practiced initially as acting foreign minister and took over this on 28 November 2008 officially. In January 2012, he was replaced by Nina Schtanski in this position. Since 2012 he works at the mobile phone company Mobilight.
