Vladislav Frolov

Vladislav Jurjewitsch Frolov (Russian Владислав Юрьевич Фролов, scientific transliteration Vladislav Frolov Jur'evič; born July 24, 1980 in Tambov ) is a Russian athlete who specializes in the 400 -meter run.

In 2006 he became Russian Champion over 400 meters. He also won at the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg in 2006 the silver medal in the 400 -meter run in a personal best of 45.09 s

In 2007 he won the Russian 4 × 400 -meter relay at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Birmingham the silver medal. The Russian team had reached the goal, although only as a third party, however, benefited from the disqualification of the top-ranked German relay. The German Bastian Swillims had the Russian -cage rotor Artem Sergejenkow Disabled foul, prompting the Russian Federation successfully protest lodged against the original rating.

He celebrated his biggest success in 2008 by winning the bronze medal in the 4 × 400 m relay race at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
