Vlattener Bach

The Vlattener Bach is an orographic right side, 21.8 km long tributary of the Rotbaches (tributary of Erft ), on the northern edge of the Eifel. It has its name from the place Vlatten that it flows through.

Course

The source of the Vlattener creek is on the eastern slope of the Kermeters, east-southeast of the village of Wolf garden. It flows through Hergarten, Vlatten (both city Heimbach ) and Wollersheim (city Nideggen ), and flows north past Eppenich and Bürvenich further by Merzenich and floras and then flows into Lövenich ( all cities city Zuelpich ) in the Rotbach.
