Vlčková

Vlčková ( German Wlczkowa, 1939-1945 Wolfsberg ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers northeast of Zlin and belongs to Okres Zlín.

Geography

Vlčková located in the Host One of mountains in the valley of the brook Kameňák. To the north rises the Kuželek ( 638 m), in the northeast of Horni Lázek ( 566 m ) east of the Vančica (510 m) and Sýkornice ( 584 m), in the southeastern Třeskunov (462 m ) south of the Sýkoří ( 449 m), to the southwest the Rablina (486 m ) to the west, the Velázquez (526 m) and in the northwest of the Ondřejovsko ( 634 m) and the Bzová (622 m). The village is situated in the natural park Hostýnské mountains.

Neighboring towns are U Juránků, Ráztoka and Hutě in the north, Štěprová, U Brány and Držková in the northeast, Bily Kopeček, Na Kopné, Hruby Les and Podkopná Lhota in the east, Kašava the southeast, Na Písečném and Velíková in the south, Lukov, Růžová, Pila and Vítová the southwest, Lukoveček, Přílepy and Žopy in the west and Rusava and Kameňák in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Lukov Wilczkaw took place in 1373 in Olomouc Landtafel. In 1446 the city was designated as Wlczkow and 1509 as Wlczkowa. Owner of the domain Lukov were among others in the 16th century the Nekesch Landek. Lucretia of Witschkow, born Nekesch Landek, which had in 1607 inherited the reign, married in 1609 Albrecht of Wallenstein. Wlczkowa existed at the beginning of the 17th century from 15 properties, including a free mill. 1625 Waldstein Lukov came from with all the accessories to the Emperor, who handed over the rule to Stephan Schmidt of free Mayrhofen. 1628 From this acquired the Minkwitz of Minkwitzburg the now heavily indebted government. After the Thirty Years' War were two of the 15 economies desolate. The place name Wlcžkowa is handed off to 1671. 1710 bought the Lords of Rottalblick Lukov. John of Rottalblick sold the goods in 1724 to Johann Friedrich von Seilern - Aspang, whose descendants held the property until 1945. Parish and school location was Kašava. The oldest Ortsiegel bears the inscription WLCZKOWA and shows a wolf carries off a lamb. 1773 bought Jan Kolář the Bailiwick of Count Seilern - Aspang, later bought successively also the owner of all other property of the subjection free. In 1834, living in the 54 houses of the village of 403 people. In Wlczkowa were two mills, to the Lower or Minarsky mill included a sawmill. The inhabitants lived on because of the harsh climate and mountainous location little tolerable agriculture and built in home office wood products. Until the mid- 19th century, the village always rule Lukov remained associated.

After the abolition of patrimonial Wlcžkowa formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Uherský Brod. As of 1855, the village belonged to the district Vizovice and from 1868 to the district Holešov. Since 1872, the church is called Vlčková / Wlczkowa. 1935 Vlčková was assigned to the Zlín Region. From 1954 to Vlčková Okres Gottwaldov -venkov and in 1960 was again Okres Gottwaldov, which again bears the name Okres Zlín after the political changes since 1990.

The community Vlčková leads a coat of arms. It shows three eight -pointed golden stars on a blue field and a centrally placed - on golden field - a black wolf with silver lamb in the catch.
