Voca People

The Voca People is an Israeli a cappella group with eight members. They occur as white aliens disguised on.

The ensemble The Voca People was founded in February 2009 by the Israeli producer and comedian Lior Kalfon; it should occur with a combination of a cappella singing, comedy and choreographic representation. Lior Kalfo designed the stage show together with the Israeli composer and music producer Shai Fishman, the first video of the formation appeared in April 2009 on YouTube. In the same year performances followed in the morning session of the CBS, in the Italian comedy show Ale e Franz, concerts in Porto Alegre, Curitiba ( Positive Theatre), Brasilia ( National Theatre ), Rio de Janeiro ( Canecao Theatre), Mexico City ( Voile ), Lisbon, Tel Aviv ( Zapa ) and Karmiel ( Heichal Ha'Tarbuot ) and Cologne ( Kölner Philharmonie ). The group has issued today a CD ( " VocaPeople ").

The Voca People come into their performances on white dressed as inhabitants of the fictional musical planet Voca, will communicate to the only means of voiced utterances. For decades they have been listening to the earthly music, and now wanted to sing their favorite songs here. In their a cappella vocal mixes the formation beatboxing, ie imitation of percussion instruments, and vocal imitations of other musical instruments.
