Voice user interface

The term Vocal User Interface ( SBS, Eng. Voice user interface, VUI ), borrowing from a graphical user interface, the user interface of speech dialogue systems.

Vocal user interfaces, most are without rigid hierarchical menus. However, problems also arise in such systems, so options can acoustically not be displayed " at a glance" and must remain with speech dialogue systems to a limited short-term memory of the caller, thus transient. Due to a favorable dialogue design one tries to bring the benefits of Vocal user interface for validity and mitigate its limitations.
