Voigtsdorf

Voigtsdorf is a municipality in the eastern part of the district of Mecklenburg Lake District in southeastern Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Woldegk based in the same city. The municipality is currently (2010) the smallest municipality of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Voigt village was first mentioned in 1367.

Geography

The community Voigtsdorf located about 25 kilometers east of Neubrandenburg and ten kilometers northwest of Strasburg (Uckermark ) and south of the Endmoränenbogens of up to 153 meters high Brohm Mountains Nature Reserve Brohm Mountains. Neighboring municipalities are Schönhausen in the east, Schoenbeck in the northwest and in the southwest United Miltzow.

Federal highway 104 runs south of the community. Through the municipal area leads the federal highway 20, which is on the junction Strasburg (Uckermark ) (about five kilometers ) distance.
