Vojvodinci ( Serbian Cyrillic Војводинци, Romanian: Voivodinţ, Hungarian: Vajdalak, German: Wojwodintz ) is a village in the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina.

Geography and population

Vojvodinci is located in the municipality of Vršac in the district of southern Banat (Serbian: Okrug South Banat ). In the village lives an absolute majority of ethnic Romanians, thanks to its location in the Serbian-Romanian border, but also a few Serbs and Hungarians live in the town. The village had in 2002 417 inhabitants, while it is still 593 inhabitants in 1991. The village is situated 74 m above sea level in the southeast of the Pannonian Plain. The majority of the population is Christian Orthodox.
