Volker Knappheide
Volker Knappheide ( born March 28, 1966) is a former German football player.
Career
Knappheide learned to play football in black and white food, from where he moved to VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga in 1985. In Bochum he played for two years, but was against the likes of Thomas Kempe and Michael Lameck not prevail: He only completed seven games and scored one goal. He then moved back to his hometown club, Schwarz-Weiß Essen, for whom he played the next ten years.
