Volodymyr Synyavskyy

Vladimir Ivanovich Sinyavsky ( born November 18, 1932December 27, 2012 in Kiev ) was a Soviet wrestler. He was world champion in 1959 and winner of a silver medal at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome in free style at lightweight.

Career

Vladimir Sinyavsky, a Ukrainian from Kiev, began as a teenager with the rings in free style. It took a relatively long time before he was able to prevail in the Soviet Union against the keen competition.
