The Volpino Italiano is a recognized by the FCI Italian breed (FCI Group 5, Section 4, Standard No. 195).
Small (up to 30 cm ), typical -looking hat. The Volpino Italiano has developed in Italy and differs by a gewölbteren skull and longer ears of other Spitz breeds. His hair is always smooth long, straight off what the dog can appear very bulky, white or red; he is not welcome champagne. The ears are small, triangular, erect. His tail is always worn rolled on his back.
