Voltastraße (Berlin U-Bahn)

Metro Station Volta Street, is located under the fountain street near the Volta a road station of line U8 of the Berlin U -Bahn. It was opened on 18 April 1930 and bears in station list of the Berlin Transport Authority the name Vo. The station has stairs and since the end of 2011 an elevator to exit the platform and is therefore called a barrier-free.

Currently, the station is redeveloped. In this context, both inputs are successively renewed and installed an elevator.

History

Metro Station Voltastrasse was already 1914/1915 by the AEG- speed rail -AG built.
