Vrasna

Vrasna (Greek Βρασνά (n. pl. ) ) Is a village in the municipality of Agios Georgios of the 2010 community -created Volvi in the Greek region Central Macedonia. It consists of the villages of Nea Vrasna ( 2,556 inhabitants), Vrasna (278 inhabitants) and Paliamela (45 inhabitants).

Vrasna is located about 65 kilometers east of Thessaloniki on the mountain slopes of the Kerdylio immediately north of the Egnatia Odos, just 2.5 miles west of the junction 27 Asprovalta / Vrasna.
