Vytautas Å ustauskas

Vytautas Šustauskas ( born March 19, 1945 in Kražiai, Circle Kelmė ) is a Lithuanian politician, founder of the party Lietuvos Laisvės sąjunga (LLL ).

Training

1964 graduated from Vytautas Šustauskas the technical school for Shipbuilding in Klaipeda. He then studied at the Faculty of Klaipeda Kaunas Polytechnic Institute (1968-1969) and at the Naval School Klaipėda ( 1970-1971 ).

2005 Vytautas Šustauskas also completed a Bachelor degree at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Klaipeda.

Political activity

1995-1997, 1997-2000, 2000-2003 was Vytautas Šustauskas municipal councilor of Kaunas and 13 April 2000 to October 30, 2000 Mayor of this city. 2000-2004 he was a member of the Seimas.

1989-1992 headed the department of Kaunas Vytautas Šustauskas the movement Lietuvos Laisvės Lyga ( Lithuanian Freedom League ), which has been restructured under his direction in 1992 as a movement Lietuvos Laisvės sąjunga (Confederation of the freedom of Lithuania ) and was recognized as a political party since 1994.

Vytautas Šustauskas was married several times; he has three sons: Gintaras, Nerijus and Arnas.

Šustauskas is considered a scandalous politician and as such enjoys special attention from the media.
