W. G. Snuffy Walden

William Garrett Walden (also known as Snuffy Walden or WG Snuffy Walden; born February 13, 1950 in Louisiana) is an American composer and musician.

Walden is best known for his compositions for popular television shows such as Ellen, Early Edition, Roseanne, Welcome to life, Sports Night and The Best Years as well as Stephen King's The Stand - The Stand.

In 2000, Warden won an Emmy for " Outstanding Achievement in Main Title Theme Music " of the television series The West Wing.

As a musician he has performed with, among others, Chaka Khan, Eric Burdon and Donna Summer. He played as the guitarist two albums with the blues-rock band Stray Dog a ( Stray Dog, 1973, and While You're Down There, 1974).
