Wade Barrett
Stuart Alexander Bennett ( born August 10, 1980 in Penwortham, Lancashire, England ) is a British professional wrestler. He is currently under the ring names Bad News Barrett with the market leader WWE under contract and performs regularly in their wrestling shows. 2013 he took a role in the movie Dead Man Down.
Career
Born in Penwortham, Bennett grew up in Preston and idolized in his childhood the British wrestlers, The British Bulldog. His own beginnings in wrestling Bennett made in Europe in 2003 when he trained alongside their studies in a wrestling school and tried on an independent level. He later worked for several leagues (eg Celtic Wrestling, British Wrestling Alliance, All Star Wrestling or Irish Whip Wrestling ). At All Star Wrestling, he also met several times to today's WWE Superstar Sheamus.
WWE
Ohio Valley Wrestling
In 2007, Bennett signed a development contract with WWE and was first in Ohio Valley Wrestling ( OVW short ) is used, where he debuted in October 2007 as Stu Sanders. In OVW Bennett won the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship with Paul Burchill. After the WWE 2008, the collaboration with OVW ended, Bennett moved to Florida Championship Wrestling WWE construction League.
Florida Championship Wrestling
On 15 April 2008 Bennett played his first match in FCW. In FCW he made with the current WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre a tag team ( The Empire ). Along with McIntyre won the FCW Florida twice Bennett Tag Team Championship.
After the tag team broke up, Bennett appeared as Lawrence Knight. On 16 December 2008, he played a dark match on Smackdown against Kung Fu Naki.
NXT / RAW
After ECW was dissolved, launched the first season of WWE NXT, which could win Bennett with his Pro Chris Jericho. Then he made on Raw with the other NXT participants of the first season, Stable The Nexus, where he acted as leader. With this stable he feuded mainly against John Cena. In the RAW output from January 3, 2011 Bennett was thrown from CM Punk out of the stable and then moved to SmackDown.
Smackdown
Bennett debuted at the Smackdown Taping on 4 January 2011 ( aired on January 7, 2011) at the blue fire, where he began a feud with Big Show. A week later, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater were also traded after Smackdown, which interfered with Ezekiel Jackson and Bennett, who appeared to them as "The Corre " in the feud. The Smackdown Taping of 22 March 2011, he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Kofi Kingston. This he lost at WWE Capitol Punishment on June 19, 2011, his former partner Ezekiel Jackson. Just two weeks earlier, The Corre had dissolved. He then led a feud with Randy Orton. With RAW February 20, 2012 he suffered a elbow injury and was subsequently a round half year. His return celebrated Bennett on SmackDown on September 4, 2012., On 29 December 2012, he was allowed the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Kofi Kingston win in the recording of New Year's RAW output for the second time. The title he lost on April 7, 2013 during the pre-show to Wrestlemania XXIX to The Miz, but could win him back the next day on Raw again. He lost him on June 16, 2013 at the PPV Payback in Chicago in a Triple Threat Match at Axel Curtis.
