Waegwan

Waegwan is the administrative headquarters of the district ( gun ) Chilgok in the province (Do) North Gyeongsang, South Korea. The city is located on both sides of Nakdonggang, there is bridged by different roads, including the Gyeongbu railway line.

In Waegwan is the monastery Waegwan of the Missionary Benedictines, as well as a base for the U.S. Army, Camp Carroll.
