Wagamama

Wagamama is a fast food chain for Asian dishes. Founder Alan Yau, majority owned by the private equity fund Lion Gate.

Opened in 1992 in Bloomsbury (London), Wagamama was the first restaurant of its kind in Europe. Meanwhile, there are 60 branches worldwide. The restaurants are artistically influenced by the ramen shops in Japan. The brand slogan is " positive eating positive living ".

The first opening of Wagamama restaurants in Switzerland took place in April 2008 in Winterthur, it has now been closed. Another branch was opened in September 2008 in Zurich.
