Waibaidu Bridge

The Waibaidu Bridge (外 白 渡桥Chinese, Pinyin Waibaidu Qiao ) is a historic bridge in Shanghai.

History

The Waibaidu bridge was built by Cleveland Bridge & Engineering Co. and released on January 20, 1908 for traffic. She was the fourth built by foreigners bridge at this point. Your historical English name was The Garden Bridge ( The Garden Bridge ).

Location

The bridged Waibaidu bridge the Suzhou River, just before it flows into the Huangpu Jiang. It leads to collar and connects the two downtown Shanghai Hongkou districts and Huangpu.
