Walibi Belgium is situated in the Belgian Wavre amusement park.

Name and history

The name " Walibi " is derived from the initials of the surrounding communities Wavre, Limal and Bierges. With the acquisition of the Walibi Group by American Society of Six Flags park was renamed Six Flags Belgium and Walibi orange kangaroo, which served as a mascot since the opening of the park, had the Warner Bros. characters to Bugs Bunny soft. In 2004, the European parks in the Six Flags group were adopted by the StarParks newly founded company.
