Walter Abraham Jacobs

Walter Abraham Jacobs ( born December 24, 1883 in New York City; † 12 July 1967 Los Angeles ) was an American chemist.

Jacobs studied at the University of Berlin and was an academic student of Hermann Emil Fischer. He is the co-discoverer of the Gould - Jacobs reaction and proposed the first to propose the correct structural formula of lysergic acid.
