Walter Bénéteau

Walter Beneteau ( born July 28, 1972 in Les Essarts ) is a former French cyclist.

1996 Walter Beneteau won the GP Cristal Energy, 1996, the Appreciation of the Tour de Guadeloupe, 1997, the Tour du Finistère and in the same year the trio Normand, together with Gregory Barbier and Christian Blanchard. From 2000 to 2006 he competed for the same team, but twice changed his name. Seven times he competed in the Tour de France; his best finish was ranked 42 in 2001; This year he was also a French vice-champion in the road race. Each time he contested the Giro d' Italia and the Vuelta a España. 2000 and 2003, he decided the Circuit de l' Alder for themselves. In 2006 he ended his cycling career.
