Walter Guggenberger

Walter Guggenberger ( born August 23, 1947 in Landeck) is an Austrian civil servant and politician ( SPÖ). Guggenberger was from 1983 to 1999 Member of the Austrian Parliament.

Life

Guggenberger attended from 1953 to 1957, the primary school and moved to the Bundesrealgymnasium Landeck, where he took off after 1966, the Matura. Guggenberger then studied law at the University of Innsbruck and graduated in 1972 with the degree Mag. from. He completed his court in 1973 year and has been working since 1974 at the State Disability Office of Tyrol, which he directs since 1986. In 1994 he was appointed councilor.

Guggenberger since 1980 and was a local councilor in Landeck between 1 December 1983 and the April 20, 1999 the National Council. Then Guggenberger was on March 30, 1999 to October 20, 2003 Member of the Tyrolean Parliament and Parliamentary Group Leader of the Parliament clubs of the SPÖ Tyrol. As of 1995, Guggenberger was also a member of the provincial party committee of the SPÖ Tyrol. In 1992 he founded with Andreas and Andreas Hörtnagl Maislinger the club memorial service.
