Walter James Edyvean

Walter James Edyvean ( born October 18, 1938 in Medford, Massachusetts, United States) is Auxiliary Bishop of Boston.

Life

Walter Edyvean received on 16 December 1964 Bishop Francis Frederick Reh the sacrament of ordination to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Boston.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 29 June 2001 as Titular Bishop of Aeliae and auxiliary bishop in Boston. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of Boston, Bernard Francis Cardinal Law, on 14 September of the same year; Were co-consecrators Lawrence Joseph Riley, Auxiliary Bishop of Boston, and William Murphy, Bishop of Rockville Centre.
