The Walter Sisulu University (English Walter Sisulu University), short WSU, a Comprehensive University School in Mthatha in South Africa's Eastern Cape Province .. is your predecessor institutions were the University of Transkei ( Unitra ), the Border Technikon and Eastern Cape Technikon. It is named after Walter Sisulu.

Organization

The WSU is led by a Vice-Chancellor, for management are in addition two Deputy Vice-Chancellor, a CFO, a testing official, a COO and two executive directors. The Registrar shall be representative and symbolic tasks. The line is the University responsible.

The University consists of four faculties: It is divided into four campus areas that are located in Mthatha, East London, Queenstown and Butterworth.

  • Faculty of Health Sciences
  • Faculty of Education

The faculties are divided into schools.

For the university, one created in 2009 a foundation that has its headquarters in Johannesburg.
