Walter Terence Stace

Walter Terence Stace ( born November 17, 1886 in London, † August 2, 1967 in Laguna Beach, California ) was a British civil servant, educator and philosopher who works on Hegel and the mysticism wrote.

Walter Terence Stace studied at Bath College, at Fettes College in Edinburgh and at Trinity College, Dublin. From 1910 to 1932 he worked as a British official and judge in Ceylon. He was also involved in Hinduism and Buddhism. From 1932 to 1955 he taught philosophy at Princeton University. In his writings he tried to reconcile with religious experience naturalism.
