Waltraud Falk

Waltraud Falk ( born February 12, 1930 in Berlin as Waltraud Tessenberg ) is a German economist.

Life

After graduation in 1948 at the Gabriele von Bülow High School in Berlin- Tegel Waltraud Falk participated in the Humboldt -Universität zu Berlin, later studying medicine, then moved to Slavic Studies and History, and finally to the economics. She graduated in 1952. In 1956, she completed her doctorate at Jürgen Kuczynski, 1962, she qualified as a professor and received a teaching assignment, in 1969, she took over the succession of their teacher Kuczynski. In the years 1979 until his retirement in 1990, she was Dean of the Social Sciences Faculty. In addition, it was until 1990 Vice- President of the Urania -Verlag, Berlin. W. Falk is one of the few women who were teaching at the time at the university.
