WAPDA F.C.

The Water & Power Development Authority Football Club, short WADPA FC, ​​is a work team of the Pakistan Water & Power Authority. Currently the club plays in the top league in the country, the Pakistan Premier League, and is the current national football champions. Play their home games, the club from the Punjab Stadium. In the very year of its foundation, in 1983, the club won the first championship. Since the turn of the millennium, the club is one of the most successful in the country. Since 2001, the WADPA FC won five championships. In the 2007 /08 season the club set a new national record, as the season was finished unbeaten. Thrice took the WADPA FC participate in the AFC President's Cup, it succeeded in 2009, the semi-finals.
