Warner Bros. Television

Warner Bros. Television ( WBTV ) is an American production and distribution company for television content. Warner Bros. Television was formed in 1955 within Warner Bros. and is still regarded as largely autonomous operating division within Warner Bros. Entertainment organized, a subsidiary of Time Warner.

In 1989, Warner Communications Lorimar - Telepictures. Telepictures (production and distribution of television content for the syndication market ) was integrated into the distribution arm of Warner Bros. Television. The name Telepictures was revived a year later than Telepictures Productions ( the production of television formats for syndication ) and Turner 1996, re-used for the sales department for syndication formats since the merger. Lorimar Television still worked until 1993 as an independent production department and was eventually also integrated into Warner Bros. Television. 2012 took over Warner Bros. Television Alloy Entertainment, which specializes in books and series for teens and young people. On February 11, 2014 Warner Bros. Television announced plans to take over all subsidiaries Eyeworks television production companies in 15 countries to 100 %.
