The Wätering is a right-side tributary of the River Hunte. It flows only in the southern part of the county Diepholz ( Lower Saxony).

Course

The 7 km long Wätering runs exclusively between the Lower Saxon lake Dumber and the Lower Saxon Circle City Diepholz. It originates from the Dumber, namely on the north side when Lembrucher district Eickhöpen ( Samtgemeinde Old Office Lemfoerde ), then flows in a northerly direction to the west of Federal Highway 51, ​​and at times - in the area of ​​graft location - right next to her. South of the city center of Diepholz, near the " airfield ", opens the Wätering in the Hunte, which then flows in a northerly direction.
