Lappenschnäpper ( Platysteira cyanea )

The Schnäpperwürger ( Platysteiridae ) form a 31 species and six genera comprehensive family of songbirds, which was once considered as a sub- family of flycatchers.

The 8 -16 cm long birds live in the forest and bush country of tropical Africa.
