WDR Fernsehen
WDR television is the regional television program of the West German Radio for North Rhine -Westphalia.
History
The program took on December 17, 1965 under the name of West German television ( WDF ) transmission on. In 1988 the program was renamed West 3, since 1994 it sends under the present name.
Since 1991, a distinction is made in the State Broadcasting Treaty between full programs and special interest programs and associated WDR Fernsehen full programs.
On April 30, 2012, a HD simulcast in high-resolution format launched 720p. However, only WDR Cologne is sent continuously in HD. Regionalization
WDR television relies heavily on regional information.
