We Are the People is a song by Australian music project Empire of the Sun, which was released as the second single from the debut album Walking on a Dream 20 September 2008 in Australia.
On 21 February 2009, the single 'We Are the People was published in Germany. The song reached in Germany, only 65 square notoriety reached the song in Germany only in 2010 by the use in commercials by Vodafone and was also placed thus for the first time at the head of the German single charts.
Music Video
The music video was filmed and directed by Josh Logue in Mexico and in total from the old Festival Mexican Día de los Muertos inspired. Among the locations included, among others, the gardens of Sir Edward James in Las Pozas, Monterrey and García.
