WEBrick

WEBrick is a Ruby program free library that provides an HTTP web server. WEBrick was developed mainly by Masayoshi Takahashi and Gotou Yuuzou, although there were also contributions from many other developers on the basis of the open source model. The software is distributed under the same license as Ruby ( Ruby license and GPL). Since Ruby 1.8.0, it is part of the standard library.

WEBrick is used for Ruby on Rails as a test server for development environment.

The web server usually runs on port 3,000.
