Weekender Records
Weekender Records Germany was an independent record label based in Berlin. Weekender Records UK is called the independent sister label in London.
History
Came out Weekender Records from the Weekender Club in Innsbruck. The club owner Justin Barwick had the label founded in 2006 to publish the music of bands that occur without a record deal at his club.
Since 2007, appeared Music Weekender Records Germany in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The list of publications overlaps partially with Weekender Records UK, both labels but basically acted independently.
Was performed Weekender Records Germany by Desiree Vach, which previously spent six years at the Berlin label Kitty Yo. Weekender Records was best known for publications from the British indie rock, but also went through this style also. Among the published artists include 1984 Chikinki and Eight Legs.
In early 2009 left Desiree Vach Weekender Records Germany and founded the independent label Snowhite. Shortly after, Weekender Records presented an operation.
