Weekly Shōnen Magazine

Weekly Shōnen Magazine (Japanese週刊 少年 マガジンShukan shōnen Magajin ) is a Japanese manga magazine on boys aged between 10 and 15 years directed ( Shōnen ).

The magazine is published weekly during the Kodansha publishing house at a price of 240 yen. The main part of the magazine make various chapters of this manga series and manga short stories. These are often action-packed fantasy stories like RAVE or romantic relationship and confusion comedies like Love Hina.

The Shōnen Magazine was founded on March 17, 1959. In the following years it became one of the most popular weekly manga magazines and especially series like Ashita no Joe helped the magazine to a high number of copies. 2005, it had a circulation of 2.3 million copies per issue. Although this represents a decrease from the previous year, yet the Shōnen Magazine is next to the Shōnen Jump 's best-selling manga magazine.
