Geography

Wefensleben located on the River Aller, in the valley between the foothills of Lappwaldes and Osterberg (166 m). To the west, a 24 -hectare mixed woodland piece named " Trenckmann 's bush " or " bill wood " to the place.

History

The first mention was made in 1160 in the goods nomenclature of St. Ludgeri monastery in Helmstedt.
