WEGA – Die Spezialeinheit der Polizei

WEGA - The special unit of the police was a nine-part TV documentary series of the Austrian TV channel ATV on the activities of the Vienna special police unit WEGA. This camera crews accompanied under the guidance of producer Andreas Mann Berger in 2010, several sector strips in their daily operations and their activities in order police special occasions. These reports are supplemented with interviews of executive staff employed and the commander of the WEGA, Colonel Ernst Albrecht. At the end of the series a special program about the violent demonstrations Opera Ball was broadcast at the end of the 1980s, which represented a particular challenge for the executive.
