Weilerbach (Verbandsgemeinde)

The Weilerbach is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Kaiserslautern, in Rhineland- Palatinate. The municipality belong to eight independent local churches, the council is based in the eponymous municipality Weilerbach.

The association council Weilerbach consists of 28 volunteer council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 a personalized proportional representation, and the full-time mayor as chairman.

Through the territory of the municipality led from 1912 to 1996 the brook course from the station Lampertsmühle - Otterbach to Weilerbach - from 1920 until after Reichenbach, but which is now closed.
