Wendell Castle

Wendell Castle ( born November 6, 1932 in Emporia, Kansas, USA) is an American furniture artist and a leading artisans.

He lives in Rochester, New York. In 1980 he founded the Wendell Castle School in Scottsville, New York. Castle has been awarded several awards, including In 1994, the award " Visionary of the American Crafts Movement " by the American Crafts Museum.
