West Island

The Montreal West Iceland, French as l' Ouest de l' île ( dt west of the island ), is the western part of the Ile de Montréal (English Iceland of Montreal, dt about the island of Montreal). The term is generally defined very common and geographically clear, but not officially own territory. In contrast to the inhabitants of Montreal and the eastern part of the island - - are mainly in English on the west Iceland about 220,000 people who live.

In Western Iceland are the Montreal -Trudeau Airport, the John Abbott College, Fairview Pointe -Claire and the Natural Park of Cap -Saint -Jacques, Montreal's largest park.
