West Lindsey

East Lindsey is a District in the county of Lincolnshire in England. Administrative center is the city of Gainsborough. Other important towns are Market Rasen, Cherry Willingham, Nettleham and Welton.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the urban districts Gainsborough and Market Rasen and Caistor Rural District and Welton. This previously belonged all to Lindsey, one of the existing 1889 to 1974 the administrative county.
