Wetsuit boots

Socks are used by divers, especially for thermal insulation when diving. But also as a protection against abrasions and cuts when entering the water booties are useful. They are also required to wear open back, so-called fins ( flippers for diving with breathing apparatus ) can.

Booties normally consist of about 3 to 5 mm thick, often lined with nylon neoprene, provided with profile rubber soles. Many booties are also equipped with a side zipper for easy donning. It would be useful if the zippers are additionally backed with neoprene to ensure better heat protection. As with hiking boots you also have at footlets make sure that they fit well and no chafing seams on the inner sides are present, because the feet are diving more or less permanently in motion. Additional protection against cold offer neoprene socks that are worn under the sock liners.
