Wheel and axle

A wheel and axle is a simple mechanical machine. It belongs to the force transducers. Well wheels consist of a shaft ( the corrugated tree ) and a wheel mounted thereon ( the actual wheel and axle ). With a wheel and axle can be connected to tension elements heavy loads to lift.

Use

Well wheels are used as basic elements in winches and cranes, as they were known in antiquity.
