Reviews

" A failed attempt to get at the reality. The representation of the problem alcoholism with its consequences and damage lack the necessary directness; it merely serves as a foil for a neat love and family drama. "

" This very tearful melodrama blessed is one of those films with which Meg Ryan would like to consist off the beaten path of their love comedies from time to time. A fairly serious confrontation with the mass problem alcoholism is these schmaltzy yet not become. At the beginning can still passable to, but in the second half pressing Written and directed only penetrating to the lacrimal gland. Also on the canvas is heavily ( and almost nonstop ) sobbed: Even Andy Garcia singles with treudoofem Bernardine view a torrent after the other. Thus, the few, well- observed scenes from the first third of their effect be deprived. Worth seeing the film, however, is for those who still have a virgin pack of paper handkerchiefs at home and do not know where to put it "
