Whetu Tirikatene-Sullivan

Tini " Whetu " Marama Tirikatene - Sullivan, Order of New Zealand ( born January 9, 1932 † July 20, 2011 in Wellington ) was a New Zealand politician.

Career

Whetu Tirikatene - Sullivan was from 1967 to 1996 for a total of ten official time member of the New Zealand House of Representatives. At the time of their departure from Parliament, she was the deputy with the second longest term of office.

She was one of 20 winners of the Order of New Zealand, the highest honor in New Zealand.
