Whitsunday Island

Whitsunday Iceland is the largest of the Whitsunday Islands, which lies in front of Queensland (Australia) in the Pacific. The island is uninhabited and offers many tourist attractions for day visitors and for overnight sailors, including the beautiful sandy beaches with clear waters of Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, the safe beautiful anchorages of Cid Harbour, as well as the well-protected waterways of Gulnare Inlet. The island is accessible from the mainland by the tourist strongholds Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour.
