Whole Earth Catalog

The Whole Earth Catalog was a by Stewart Brand, the future inventor of the term "personal computer" out given catalog, which, occasionally even up to 2003, appeared in 1968-1972. He listed literature of the counterculture.

The catalog coined and used many approaches that are now associated with the 1960s and 1970s, as the counterculture and the environmental movement. Later editions influenced the 1970s to the 1990s.

Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Inc., described the Catalog as one of the bibles of his generation and as an analog precursor of search engines like Google on the Internet. He quoted from the prompt " Stay hungry, stay foolish " (English, German hungry in about Stay [meaning probably curious ], stay foolish ).
