Wide dynamic range neuron

WDR neurons (wide - dynamic-range neurons ) are neurons that (for printing ) react with lower discharge frequency to non- noxious stimuli. You basically have an afferent input not only from nociceptors, but also by low-threshold mechanoreceptors. There are indications that WDR neurons are also involved in the development of pain memory.
