Wieńczysław Gliński

Wieńczysław Gliński ( born May 10, 1921 in Astrakhan, Russia, † 8 July 2008) was a Polish actor.

Life

His father was the actor Edward Szupelak - Gliński and so he had been with 12 years, his first stage experience. During the Second World War Gliński studied in the subsurface at the State Institute of Theatre Arts ( National Research Sztuki Teatralnej ). Under the code name Antek Gliński was in the Counterintelligence the Armia Krajowa (Polish Home Army ) worked. Captured by the Germans during a raid ( Łapanka ) he came to the Majdanek concentration camp. In 1945 he completed an examination as an actor in Łódź. In 1945 he played at the theater Syrena in Łódź .. The following year until 1990 he plays in the Warsaw Polish theater. His first film role in Sprawa pilota Maresza Piotr Maresz in 1955.
